Billing, Subscriptions
& Refunds
BitePal offers auto-renewing subscriptions — your plan is charged at the start of each billing cycle and renews automatically, so you never lose access to your progress or features.
You can view your subscription details (plan type, price, and next renewal date) anytime:
- iOS (App Store): Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → find BitePal
- Android (Google Play): Open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → find BitePal
- Web: Open BitePal → Settings → Manage Subscription
If you have any questions about your plan, we’re always happy to help at [email protected] 🙌
Yes! Your BitePal subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle, so you can stay focused on your goals without interruptions.
You can cancel anytime — see How can I cancel my subscription? for step-by-step instructions.
Don’t worry, you won’t be charged twice! This usually happens for one of these reasons:
- You’re logged into a different account than the one used for purchase
- Your subscription was purchased on a different platform (iOS, Android, or Web)
- Your subscription has expired
What to do: Open the app and log in using the same email, Apple ID, or Google account you used when you first subscribed — and on the same platform.
Still seeing the payment screen? Reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out right away 🙏
If you see an unexpected charge, it’s most likely one of these:
- You purchased an add-on (like a Custom Meal Plan or Vitamin Guide) alongside your main subscription
- You have active subscriptions on multiple platforms (Web + App Store, or Web + Google Play)
Each purchase is billed separately, and all subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
Not sure what the charge is for? Send us your invoice at [email protected] — we’ll review it and explain exactly what happened 💚
Unfortunately no — deleting the app doesn’t cancel your subscription, and you may still be charged.
To fully cancel, follow the steps in How can I cancel my subscription?. If you purchased via the Web, you can also contact us at [email protected] with your invoice.
We want to make sure you’re never charged for something you’re not using 🙏

Refund eligibility depends on where you purchased:
- App Store (iOS): Request within 48 hours via Apple’s refund page
- Google Play (Android): Request within 48 hours via Google’s refund page
- Web: Request within 30 days of purchase, with no significant usage after the charge
- Renewals: Request within 48 hours of the renewal charge, with no activity since

For full details, see our Refund Policy.
This can happen for a few reasons:
- You’re signed into a different Apple ID or Google account than the one used for purchase
- Your subscription was purchased on the Web (not through the app stores)
- The subscription has already been canceled or expired
